EMAC is a national, decentralized grassroots movement support institution anchored in county-based community organizing, systems strengthening, climate resilience, social justice, norm change, health and wellbeing, and sustainable economic empowerment. EMAC strengthens autonomous grassroots networks, youth groups, women-led initiatives, and community-led movements to build resilient, informed, organized, and economically empowered communities capable of influencing decisions and claiming their rights. Through movement building, strategic partnerships, innovation, advocacy, and technical support, EMAC advances sustainable community-led solutions that address social, economic, health, governance, and environmental challenges affecting historically underserved and structurally excluded populations.
